Real Madrid on the verge of another record
Real Madrid football club of Spain are on the verge of adding yet another glorious record to their already envious collections. The Spanish giants are currently having one of the best runs in the history of football as they have gone 36 matches without a defeat across all competitions this season. They are the only club with such honour as far as this season is concerned.
The Capital club have qualified for the Club world cup after defeating Club America in the semi final last Friday and now they must defeat Kashima Antlers in the Sunday's final, if they must achieve their dream of entering the history book as the only club to have won the competition on five different occasions. Only the Brazilian senior national team have achieved similar feat after winning the world cup five times.
Portuguese Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who notched up his 500th career goal in the 2-0 semi final success against Club America, less than a week after he was awarded the Ballon D'or for the fourth time in his illustrious career, will be keen to finish the already spectacular year on a good note as he will lead the Real Madrid attack in their bid to clinch the last trophy of the outgoing year.
