Armed robber arrested three times, finally retires from robbery,

It is often recommended that People should be persistent in what they do, even if result is not forthcoming. Persistence no doubt pays, and it is therefore advisable to hang on to your endevour until the seemingly elusive success is achieved.

However, it is definitely not the ideal advise to this young man who has tried his hands on robbery three times, and on each of those occasions, he ended up in the police net. Welcome to the world of 28-year-old Nnamdi Okorie. According to Okorie who was arrested by the men of the Delta state police command for a robbery offence, he attempted to carry out three robbery operations, and in each time he had been arrested by the police.

He lamented that no matter how painstaking he planned his operation, it would still fail. This, he said made him to finally realize that robbery is simply not his calling.

His words: I am not cut out for robbery. It's not in me. I need forgiveness. I will never go for robbery again. Each time i go for robbery operation i would be arrested. I have tried three times and failed three times.

The suspect finally resigned himself to fate after he snatched a Toyota Highlander Jeep along Asaba-Benin expressway.

The police said that Okorie and his gang attacked one Mr. Chibuzor Nzerem of the Federal College of Education[Technical], Asaba. They attacked their victim behind MTN office in the metropolis. After attacking their victim, the gang zoomed off through the expressway by Onicha-ugbo.

The gang was however intercepted by the operatives of the Safer Highway Patrol Team, who mounted road blocks along the axis.
