No one will leave PDP--Bot chair

Chairman Board of Trustees of the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party[PDP], Senator Walid Jibrin, has blasted members of the party who plan to dump it for another party. He fumed that they were thinking of such at a time when the party was working assiduously to win the next general election and salvage Nigeria.

The Bot chairman who said this yesterday at a press briefing  further added that posterity would not forgive members of the party who wanted to kill the party or ditch it for another party. The second republic senator denied that there was a plan to dump the party. He added that every organ of the party was working to strengthen the party to enable it maintain its power and play its role as an effective opposition party in the country.

I wish to state authoritatively that there is no plan for me to dump the PDP as it was never discussed or any discussion taken by any organ of the party. If we do that, posterity will not forgive us, because PDP is already a household name dearly loved by every household in Nigeria. Posterity will judge any one with the ambition to kill PDP for his selfish interest or ambition. It is quite contrary to the hard works of our founding fathers and mothers who worked so hard to produce the PDP brand.
